Most Computer owners have come to rely on their computers to do so many things such as paying their bills online, sending important emails, listening to music, watching movies and myriad tasks. However, almost every computer will have glitches at one time or another that slows down or makes you put off what you're trying to do on your computer. There are some things you can do regularly to prevent these glitches.
Instructions
1.Add more RAM. Open the computer case and locate the RAM slots. Add additional RAM up to the maximum. You will need to consult your computer manual to determine how much RAM you can add.2.Scan your computer for spyware and viruses. Download or purchase and install anti-spyware and anti-virus software. Run full scans of your computer at least once a month to remove anything that can be causing a problem.
3.Reinstall software that is problematic. Go to the "Control Panel" and select "Uninstall a Program." Select the program and choose "Uninstall." Restart the computer and then reinstall the software.
4.Delete files and unused programs if your computer does not have a lot of free space. Your computer will run better if it has at least a few gigabytes free.
