1.Use the keypad to key in a phone number.2.Press the "Send" key on the device.
3.Press the "End" key to end the call.
How to Send Text Messages on the BlackBerry Pearl
1.Use the trackball to scroll to the "Message List" and depress the trackball to open the application.2.Press the BlackBerry, icon key.
3.Use the trackball to scroll to "Compose SMS" and depress the trackball to choose this action.
4.Type your recipient's phone number in the phone number text box and click the trackball. Type your message, using the keypad, in the message body and click the trackball.
5.Click on "Send" to send your message to your recipient.

3.Use the trackball to scroll to "Compose Email" and click the trackball.
4.Type an email address in the "To" field. Type a message in the email body.
